I apologize upfront if there have been threads on this in the past.  New member here and not exactly sure how to check the forum for previous threads on the subject.  Mods, feel free to kick me in nuts if necessary (not literally of course).

My first recollection of the Buckeyes was the early 70s.  At that time the Big Ten had 10 teams (see what they did there?)  Of course the conference was commonly referred to as the Big Two / Little Eight with the Bucks and TTUN dominating the conference and every year coming down to The Game to decide the Big Ten championship and who would go to Rose Bowl.  My first memory was of the '73 game - the 10 - 10 tie.  We were voted to represent the Big Ten in the Rose Bowl over TTUN that year by the athletic directors of the other league schools.  At that time only one team from the conference could go to a bowl game.  So, TTUN was 10-0-1.  No soup bowl for you! 

Anyway, Woody Hayes was obviously a legendary coach for OSU.  Many great stories and quotes from him and truly an iconic figure.
