Stroud played like a Champion yesterday and I for one had written him off as not having the "it" factor.  If he plays like he did yesterday for the rest of the season, then OSU can beat anyone in the BIG and compete on a National basis.  The talent on defense has always been there but the coaching has been terrible.  Barnes is a major upgrade over Coombs (not that the bar was that high) and you can see the players buying into him as the DC.  I still think they need to replace Coombs at the end of the year with a proven DC and make Barnes a Co-DC but for now he gives OSU a chance to win its 5th BIG Title in a row.  The defense is now playing well enough to make OSU a contender with the offense only getting better with experience.
