Four-star 2026 cornerback Jordan Thomas commits to Ohio State.
A thread recognizing Crowley’s talent and ability is necessary after last night.
After flashing at times his true freshman season in 2019, and an injury sidelining him for most of the 2020 season, it’s fair to say that this is his first year in the program where he can show us what he can do with the ball in his hands as a developed college athlete.
Last night against Rutgers he accumulated 58 rushing yards on 7 carries (8.3 average) along with 1 reception for 21 yards in his most active game since he has been a Buckeye. Crowley showed great balance flashing speed, power, and toughness on his touches. Going into last nights game his ability and production on the field has been the biggest question mark out of all our running backs. Crowley put a balanced style on display that reminds me of a young Zeke before his breakout that came later in 2014.
In our running back room he brings a style of running that is different than Henderson, Teague, and Williams. Despite Henderson’s breakout in the past few games, and Teague’s steadiness, Crowley brings an explosive but balanced threat to our backfield that deserves more touches going forward.
