By down year I mean a possible 3 loss season not B1G title. I know it's something we're not used to but the team feels like it's not clicking on defense or at QB. The B1G seems to be pretty strong this year, lot of tough games.

I'm not impressed by the talent on defense. I don't see first rounders or even 2nd/3ds. I know there are a lot of highly rated recruits but there just aren't those studs. There's no Chase Young, Okudah, Malik Hooker, Darron Lee, Jerome Baker, ect... We have a couple weak spots and no difference makers.

Now I will say I think the future looks very bright. Most of the bright spots have been true freshman with JTT, Burke, Henderson. Can't wait to see when Ewers and Henderson get to pair up.
