Ooo I'm so mad. Phil Steele made a list of top strength of schedule, so I was impressed that Bama was #4:

he based his numbers on adding up the win-loss numbers of the teams played the year before.
Seems like a good idea; obviously has holes. Just because Whisky went 11-3 last year doesn't mean they will this year. Also, it doesn't differentiate between home and road games. But I thought, not a bad way to rank schedules.
But then I looked at Alabama's #4 ranked schedule, per Phil Steele, that includes:
Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders 9/12
ULM Warhawks 9/26
Charlestown Southern Buccaneers 11/ 21
Who am I to question Alabama's mighty schedule? Except we're sure to hear all season long about how tough Alabama's schedule was playing THE MIGHTY ULM WARHAWKS. P!$$ off.
I think a better version of that ranking system would drops all wins against any non-FBS teams (that includes wins by the rest of the $ec playing cupcakes). Then I wonder how high the might Bama schedule would rank. Idk yet, but I'm thinking not #4.
