UofM is considering dropping the Yost name from their Ice Arena.  It's named after Fielding H. Yost who was their football coach and AD from 1901 to 1941.  They just figured out the man was a racist as only One black player played on Michigan's team during that period.  He basically wanted to keep the team as 'white' as possible. Their words, not mine.  Looks like they will drop the name.  I wonder if they will go so far as to remove all of the wins Yost was responsible for while he was coach?  LOL!

"Yost coached at Michigan from 1901 through 1923, and again in 1925 and 1926. He was highly successful at Michigan, winning 165 games, losing only 29, and tying 10 for a winning percentage of .833. Under Yost, Michigan won four straight national championships from 1901 to 1904 and two more in 1918 and 1923."

They might remove his name to feel good about themselves, but no way are they dropping the 'W's from the win column!  At least we'll know that the University that prides itself as the "Leaders and the Best" didn't mind having a head football coach who was a racist as long as he brought home the wins.
