Two weeks ago I began to DVR michigan's games. Then I watch them during the week in segments. I watch with a strange combination of fascination and glee, like a scientist observing a virus that once was fearsome but has now been rendered helpless.

I am told I must hope for this team to be successful for the sake of the conference and the rivalry. But I cannot do it. I remember the 90s, and I enjoy this spectacular tumble into the abyss.

Is this wrong? Am I sick?
