Running a ten-yard post on a first quarter third down, Rutgers tight end Jerome Washington converted for the Scarlet Knights, though probably not how he intended to. Nonetheless, it was sick.

Even if former Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash and his Rutger football team stay at the bottom of the Big Ten east basement this year, plays like this can help drive the motivation of a young team and help win some ball games.

It won't help them avoid getting dumped next week by these guys called Buckeyes, but alas. It's a cool play.

At the time of publish, though, Rutgers was leading downtrodden Nebraska and owner of an increasingly warm seat in Mike Riley, 10-7.
