The Buckeye recruiting class of 2011 keeps on rolling as The Vest and his staff picked up another offensive lineman today. Just minutes after receiving a scholarship offer on his unofficial visit today, Tommy Brown of Akron Firestone told Jim Tressel he wanted to be a Buckeye.

Brown is the fourth offensive lineman in the class. At 6-5/300, he projects to be a tackle for the Scarlet and Gray. The staff has clearly focused on keeping Ohio's best in state this year and Brown makes it seven out of the eight verbals so far that hail from the Buckeye state. The only other offensive lineman the Buckeyes will probably pursue at this point is Cleveland Glenville's Aundrey Walker, who looks to favor OSU at this point as well.

This is a great pick-up for JT and he is off to a great start in the trenches this recruiting season. After signing just one offensive lineman and three defensive linemen in the 2010 class, the Bucks already have seven trench-bound players in the 2011 group. Stay tuned to 11W for more information this week on the recruitment of the next class of Buckeyes.
