Happy Fourth of July, friends, and a special salute to the brave military men and women who made it possible.

NEED ME ONE OF THESE. Sports Science has come along ways since the days players were allowed to chief cigarettes in the locker room at half time. Ohio State players have the privilege of playing at a school with cutting-edge technologies like things dubbed "the white egg."

From dispatch.com:

What looked to be a giant white egg in a corner of a room in Ohio State’s Woody Hayes Athletic Center cracked open the other morning, a soft-blue light shining forth before linebacker Craig Fada arose from within and stepped out.

He had just spent 30 minutes in the sensory-deprivation device, a tub whose shallow pool of water contains about 35 percent Epsom salt, allowing one to float effortlessly.

“It gives you the sense of relaxation that you can’t get anywhere besides here,” Fada said. “When you step out, you feel healed, rejuvenated and energized.”

I need one of those to get my mind write before every Skull Session.

BE SAFE, JOEY. Fireworks don't do it for me. I'll watch the occasional city produced show, though I tend to eschew shows put on by a neighbor who just sunk 40% of a paycheck into a felony's worth of fireworks.

Joey Galloway is not that man:

That picture makes my palms sweat.

CRAFT'S LAST STAND. Matthew Dellavedova just signed a four-year, $39 million contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, which is hilarious.

Meanwhile, Aaron Craft toils away on the Utah Jazz's Summer League team. Do you see where I'm going with this?

From cleveland.com:

In easy NBA comparison for Craft is Cavs guard Matthew Dellavedova. Craft spoke with cleveland.com about that comparison last summer.

"I think you go through stages. When you see a guy you think you're similar to that's doing well, you're a little jealous, because he got the opportunity and you didn't," Craft told cleveland.com.

"And that changes into some positivity because he performed at the highest level in the NBA and was a having a lot of success, no matter for how short or as long it was. And yeah, I think I can do what he was doing defensively – offensively, too."

Dellavedova just agreed to a four-year, $39 million deal with the Milwaukee Bucks. The Cavs can match if they want to.

Cleveland Cavalers No. 1 Aaron Craft jerseys would outsell LeBrons by 2020. Just wait on it.

GOOD NIGHT, GOOD FIGHT. I always knew Herschel Walker was one of the best running backs in college football history. I did not realize how good:

Scary to think what he could've done with a modern weight training program.

AND THAT'S THE WAY I LIKE IT. There's a reason Columbus is becoming a fashion hub of the western hemisphere.

From u/thrillemup of r/columbus:
