"Scrolling hurts my finger" (and FitzBuck was clearly the winner) CHESAPEAKE-VA-BUCK 9 Oct 2013, 6:22 am Wisky and Northwestern, by far the best matchup. It will be a physical in your face game and with Wisky having a week off to rest… might be a bad day for Northwestern, it will be some good football B1G style! "Woody is a God-fearing man. It's good to know that he's afraid of somebody." --Archie Griffin AndyVance Mod 9 Oct 2013, 6:22 am The NW/Wisky game is probably the most interesting relative to our schedule and seeing how two teams we beat handle one another, but I'm very interested to see how Indiana vs. MSU turns out... Can one of the more prolific offenses in the Conference stack up against one of the stoutest defenses in the country, and can MSU score enough points despite its Bollman-ball tendencies to handle the Hoosiers? lamplighter 9 Oct 2013, 6:34 am I voted Indy-Sparty -- I want to se how IU pays against a real defense and how Dantonio defends them. There might be some other eyes in Columbus on that game as well extemporary08 9 Oct 2013, 8:04 am For fun: NW/WISKY For analysis: IU/MSU BuddhaBuck 9 Oct 2013, 8:10 am Ditto. I'm curious to see how our two previous opponents look against each other.. and I'd love to see how MSU matches up with IU... IU smells like fools gold to me. Lost to Navy, lost badly to Mizzou, beat PSU in a down down down (311 anyone?) year, and oh by the way, all their games have been at home. Don't text while driving. Harold 9 Oct 2013, 8:23 am Do you think we should want NW to win? I realize that gives Wisky 3 losses and thus makes our win look weak but I think NW winning makes our win against them look better...hell, who knows. Ahhh, the smell of Chris Spielman's Dirty Socks... cplunk 9 Oct 2013, 9:28 am You want NW if strength of schedule is your concern. Two reasons: 1) NW is ranked, Wisky isn't. Need NW to be ranked higher 2) Wisky lost to ASU and them winning helps the P12 teams in SOS at the expense of the B1G Earle 9 Oct 2013, 9:48 am I can't tie myself into knots trying to figure out who to root for for SOS reasons. I will: Root against Michigan because that's what I always do. Root for Michigan State because they are Michigan's "other rival" and I secretly like Walrusball. Root for Northwestern because I have a soft spot for nerds and I like Fitzgerald. Root for Purdue because I have a soft spot for nerds and I like Hazell. Root against Iowa because I hate their uniforms and Kirk Ferentz's COY's. Root for Nebraska because I just find Bo Pellini to be entertaining in a sad sort of way. Root for Minnesota because of Jerry Kill and Goldy Gopher. Try to figure out how I feel about Wisconsin after Bert. Try to figure out how I feel about Penn State under BOB. Ignore Indiana and Illinois because they are irrelevant. Have you tried Not Your Father's Root Beer? It tastes just like the real thing, but it packs a punch (5.9%ABV). It's a little sweet for me though. Two is my limit. JLP36 9 Oct 2013, 8:36 am Wisc v. NW will be the better game. Mich v. Penn St will be more interesting to see if either gets it back on course. I fully expect Mich to bump along, stay undefeated and play their best game in the finale. So the Bucks will beat an undefeated team to close the year and still get no credit because everyone's opinion of Mich will be cemented by the early season close calls against lame teams. JLP36 chibuck 9 Oct 2013, 9:09 am I'll be rooting for NW, but I'm afraid they're going to struggle going to Madison after the physical game last week. Plus, Wisconsin should be rested up now coming off of the bye. throttlefinger 9 Oct 2013, 10:10 am Definitely NW-WI is the most "interesting". The most relevant game is probably IND vs. MSU. While it pains me to say this, would like to see UM beat PSU so they are undefeated when we play them in Ann Arbor. Might be the difference if there are 3 undefeated teams at the end of the season. Vico Staff 9 Oct 2013, 10:35 am Nebraska @ Purdue has, as of writing, 1 of 576 votes. Yikes. I probably should've just skipped that option. I can't believe I ate the whole thing. Oyster 9 Oct 2013, 10:39 am And it's a good bet that OSUNATHEN is the one who voted for it, considering that he is going. http://www.elevenwarriors.com/forum/football/2013/10/advice-on-going-to-... "Scrolling hurts my finger" (and FitzBuck was clearly the winner) Idaho Helga 9 Oct 2013, 12:10 pm Can I vote for "Defense Working on Fundamentals"? Since I can't I want Northwestern to win and stay ranked. I'm secretly rooting for Penn St even though it's not in my teams best interest. Am I a bad Buckeye for this? Buckeye Chuck 9 Oct 2013, 4:06 pm Did Darell Hazell join 11W back in the day? It's probably him. The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W. IBleedSandG 9 Oct 2013, 2:27 pm NW @ Wisco is the most intriguing B1G game, and it will probably be the most enjoyable game to watch in the conference. Well, that is unless NW is worn down from the game vs. the Bucks and the Badgers run for 400 against them. We need ttun to keep winning and look decent, but I have a feeling Bob and Co. knocks them off. #GrindFor9 Buckeye Chuck 9 Oct 2013, 4:05 pm The We-Lost-To-The-Buckeyes Bowl. The loser is out of the conference title race at a depressingly early stage. And while it's to early too say that the Wildcats are in the drivers' seat to go 11-1 if they win, they will probably be favored in the rest of their games, and that's not a bad thing for OSU. The most "loud mouth, disrespect" poster on 11W. ohiowhitesnake 9 Oct 2013, 10:33 pm Upset pick PSU over UM I finally got a set of Gold Pants!
