Adolphus Spence or Noah Washington. I couldn't choose so I combined them.

But if I had to choose(which I do apparently) i'd go with Washington. I still think he'll be the best DLinemen of the '12 class.

I completely agree with you.  Any experience for this young D will be a help and the fact that Washington had good contribution (I am sure has something to do with Noah Spence having a lot of the hype) this past year is a bigger plus in my book.  I would really, really, really love to see tOSU get some star, and I mean BIG STAR linebackers in the line up, or, in the very least, have one of our guys step up big time and make a difference.

And might I just add to all of the tOSU seniors moving on, thank you guys for an unforgettable season in the books.

I voted Noah Spence because he'll make the plays, but the rel difference maker will be one or more of the inside guys. Someone like poor Garrett Goebel. Played great but gets no press because he played next to a first round NFL pick and opened space for guys like Simon, Williams, and Shazier.

I hate to think that we could go wrong with any of these four guys let alone all four of these guys, but Washington reminds me of a more talented, Cam Heyward (is that possible?) and Spence is more akin to Thad Gibson...

Is it September 2013 yet?

I voted for Spence simply due to his athleticism, and he'll have more time to develop both physically and mentally.  I expect Washington to make plays as well and would be a close second in my mind.  If Bennett is healthy, I also expect him to be a big contributor.  Schutt (or Hale) may be a nice run plugger and make plays in that regard, but I don't know if they'll put up the numbers of these others.

Don't have the stats but it seemed to me that Washington got less PT than Spence and Schutt but was more productive.

I had to go Washington just because of his first name. Anytime I hear the name Adolphus, I think of a really bad 80s wrestler gimmick, and I have to go with that.

I don't know, and agree with Spence and Washington. Nessler got to call their names often this year, which is good.

I went with Washington, but it is going to be more than a one man show. The incoming freshman class will need to contribute at LB and DB for there to be another championship season. We still need those big name recruits that Urban is working on at both LB and DB.

Went with Magnus Adolphus. He has a body that already looks like it's ready for the NFL.

Washington, but all of them will flourish with Vrab's.  They're going to play nasty next year.

I voted Spence only due to the word 'playmaker'.     That says big play to me.    Spence will get the most sacks and tackles for loss but I think Adolphus will force the O-line to double team him thus freeing up Spence.   Playmaker - Spence    Most Valuable - Adolphus

I voted Diesel, but I think we could be surprised by JT Moore or Steve Miller.

Washington was my vote. His frame is incredible for such a young guy(or for any human being of any age) and he moves so well. When your that big and can play basketball like he did lookout. Has the early makings of a high draft pick just like big Hank IMO . He and Spence will undoubtedly make each other look good. Oh yeah, the other 10 guys that will play are pretty good too.

Go Bucks!!!

Another few guys to think about is Joey Bosa, Michael Hill, Tracy Sprinkle and Se'von Pittman. Scary, but exciting depth on the DL. Now, if we can get Trey Johnson, Mike Mitchell along with Shazier, Grant, Marcus... as many posters have said before, is it August 2013 yet? Heck! April 2013 in terms of spring game.

Washington and Spence to be the big names and get a lot of attention but it will be Bennett that holds the line together in the middle

Alophus Washington this upcoming year, Spence the following. To me Adolphus has the body and potential of an All-American DE and can start with a serious impact right now. But my guess is that Washington will probably plateau (at very good). Whereas to me Spence is still filling out his frame, and he got pushed around at times last year. I see Spence's ceiling as ridiculous just based on his athletic gifts, though. He game is very reminiscent of, and could potentially max out at being, a Clowney type by his Jr. year.

Adolphus is about at the point of having the body of a potential AA DT! Spence will put on some weight come next year and they'll both be very good. I was very impressed with Tommy Schutt when I saw him in as well this year. Even if Spence winds up being 2/3 of Clowney next year that's a helluva DE!
