PHONE'S RINGING -- IT'S URBAN ON THE LINE
I want to say Sabino due to having more experience but that didn't keep him from getting red shirted three years into college. So Grant...
I don't always take names when I kick ass but when I do, they most often belong to a Wolverine.
Weren't they both the top LB's in their respective classes ?
I think Sabino was very young when he enrolled, 16 or maybe 17 yrs old.
Red shirt year could have helped acclimate him to TOSU, long way from Miami.
Grant signing w/TOSU very similar, top LB recruit in class, from VA.
Getting comfortable in new environment.
Weird how Shazier came in and just dominated yet these 2 higher ranked recruits
have not. I know they are both super quality footballer's.
I voted Sabino because he is prob. more acclimated.
Urban Meyer recruited both to fl.
I don't care as long as Sabino lays the wood like he did in the Gator Bowl.
I think Sabino woke up and he is poised to have a huge breakout year. That being said, if Urban keeps him on the bench and gives Curtis the nod..it will be tough to truly make an impact
Sabino plays SAM and Grant will play MIKE.
Bino also played much of last year with a broken hand/wrist. So I'd expect his produciton to go up now that he's got to healthy hands to work with.
Sabino is fast and can hit with the best of them but we saw him hitting the wrong gaps over and over again last year. He needs to improve his instincts and time in the filim room and he'll be a beast.
Time and change will surely show how firm they friendship... O-HI-O.
