The last we checked in with former Ohio State quarterback Joe Bauserman, he tutored skiers in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Bauserman, however, is headed back east and getting back to his original love: baseball. The Strasburg Express, a Valley Baseball League, announced Bauserman's will coach pitchers in 2017:

Bauserman, a Strasburg, Va., native, pursued a professional baseball career before Jim Tressel convinced him to return to football in 2007. He last played in Columbus as a redshirt senior in 2011.

From the Valley League's website:

The Valley League was founded May 15,1897, in Edinburg (VA) and included charter members Winchester, Woodstock, Strasburg, Front Royal, and Edinburg. It evolved in the early years from a Class D minor league to when It became an NCAA-sanctioned league in 1961 operating under NCAA rules.  The league adopted wooden bats in 1993.   Each VBL team plays a 44-game schedule June through August concluding with a top-eight-team playoff to determine the Lineweaver Cup Championship.

The Express 2017 season starts June 3.
