WDBJ-7's Alison Parker and Adam Ward are gone, but they won't be forgotten.
Virginia Tech announced Sunday that it would wear a special helmet decal honoring the shooting victims against Ohio State on Labor Day night.
On Thursday afternoon, it was announced Ohio State will join them:
“Ohio State expressed a desire to show its solidarity with Virginia Tech in remembering the vibrant lives of Alison Parker and Adam Ward,” Tech Director of Athletics Whit Babcock said in a release. “Coach Beamer and I both agreed it was a wonderful gesture on the part of Gene Smith, Urban Meyer, and the Buckeyes. We hope fans of both teams join us in hopefully providing some solace to the friends, families and co-workers who continue to miss Alison and Adam."

Top play from everyone involved in the decision.
The Buckeyes asked for permission to wear the same helmet stickers as the Hokies on Labor Day night and that request was quickly granted.

As for that Ohio State helmet: It's from last year and not reflective of Ohio State's Monday night outfits.
