As famous male model Derek Zoolander once proclaimed in the American motion picture classic Zoolander, "Ohio State is so hot right now."

Yes, it would appear Ohio State rampaging to the school's first national title since 2002 is good for the school's bottom line.

As first reported by Tim Feran of Dispatch.com, Ohio State expects a ~$3,000,000 royalties windfall due to the post-championship fever sweeping Buckeye Nation as retailers expect sales to remain high throughout the year.

And while Ohio State's athletic department is the one turning the profit, it's income spread to all areas of the university:

The breakdown goes like this: For every dollar that goes into the licensing office, 55 cents goes to academic affairs, which handles scholarships, libraries, ongoing programs and the university’s 14 college units; 15 cents goes to the athletics department; 15 cents goes to the alumni association; and 15 cents goes to the student life program and its 1,000 student organizations.

And that's how the Ohio State #brand continues is growth.
