Starting tight end Jeff Heuerman is out for the Kent State game today, an Ohio State spokesman told Eleven Warriors. Heuerman is still nursing a lingering foot injury and Urban Meyer vowed to "really pull him back" earlier in the week in an effort to get him healthy.
Backup Nick Vannett will start today against the Golden Flashes with backup Marcus Baugh and potentially even Sam Hubbard seeing playing time.
