2015 point guard A.J. Harris committed to the Buckeyes almost a little over a year ago, in August of 2013. Although he's been on the record as an Ohio State pledge that long, finally took his official visit to Columbus this weekend. He joined fellow commitment Austin Grandstaff and former commitment Mickey Mitchell and was able to take in the game atmosphere.

"It was great," Harris said of his official visit. "I had a lot of fun."

With NBA great and Buckeye ambassador LeBron James on-hand, Harris said the best part of the visit the chance to develop a camaraderie with his future teammates.

"The best thing was the chance to be with my teammates, getting to know those guys better, and getting to just hang out with them," he added. "Lebron couldn't talk with the recruits."

Austin Grandstaff echoed many of Harris' sentiments as he made his way back to Ohio from Texas. He also had a thought on the visit from "The King."

"It was great," Grandstaff said of the visit. "What really stood out to me was the fan support. It was incredible. I've never seen a school have that many fans. They were everywhere."

"It was pretty cool to see (LeBron James) there to support the university," Grandstaff said of the two-time NBA champion. "Unfortunately we didn't get to talk to him."

Like Harris, the chance to continue building relationships with future teammates and coaches is what Grandstaff relished the most.

"I spent a lot of time with the guys on the team," he added. "Everyone was really cool, really great guys. I'm happy I got to spend a lot of time with AJ too, because he's going to my point guard, so we need to get on the same page starting early."
