wisky got my vote, can't root for any team from that state up north. would love to see wisky come to shoe undefeated and for the BUCKS to hand them 1st loss.
I want us to be the team that knocks Wisconsin from the ranks of the undefeated and removes any chance of them winning a title after they did it to us last year.
Agree with this but I'm torn...part of me can't see Wisco losing 2 in a row so I'd want them to a win a game they have to fight all 60 minutes for...part of me wants them to lose so we have a chance at the big 10 title but I know chances of us pulling an upset go down after a MSU win tonight
Could someone clue me in on the big ten title race. What matters the most is in div. games correct? So as of now OSU 1-0 and Wisky 1-0 are tie for the Div. lead? or does big ten overall record factor in?
My understanding is as you describe, division records dictate the championship game matchup, not records vs cross-divisions or anything along those lines. OSU runs the table through the rest of the season & we have the head to head breaker against bucky & go to the conference champ game.
I might be mistaken on that, but think some people are still thinking of records w/o the divisions in mind.
You're right. That's why I want MSU to beat these guys, tonight. Wisconsin can lose two in a row. And Ohio State can win out and win the B1G. It's possible.

Agreed with the first loss handing but MSU wins and we can still win a title in a NCAA imposed down year.
Correct me if I'm wrong but if Ohio State wins out and Wisky loses this week Ohio State would get in the big ten championship game.
Not if Sparty wins out too?
Isn't msu in a different division?
Yes.
Forgot the M&N's in one side......
Pulling for Sparty. Anything that will help keep us in the B1G title hunt.
eeeeer is it better if Sparty loses? Not sure I can pull for Wisc.

Best overall record vs entire conference wins the division. In division records are for tie-breaking only.

Well I had already selected MSU to root for & will obviously not change that desire. See what you're referring to RBuck & had that misunderstood.

And that's why they play the games!
They're not in Madison. That's the big difference. They could be legit. But, they could melt. Wisconsin's season begins, tonight.
Beyond the Shoe, here's what they face - which is why I'm rooting for MSU. I think it's more likely they'll win out, in Novemeber:
Sat, Nov 5
Purdue
TBA
Sat, Nov 12
at Minnesota
TBA
Sat, Nov 19
at (23) Illinois
TBA
Sat, Nov 26
Penn State
TBA
We can gut Wisconsin - regardless of their record. It's vengeance, baby!
Hoping for a really physical effort by Sparty. Pretty unsportsman-like on my part, but I wouldn't mind Bucky coming in here a little banged up.

Did somebody say unsportsman-like?
If Denard Robinson isn't careful with spooning all that food into his mouth, he's going to end up lookin' like Whoopi Goldberg
Rooting for Sparty all the way, Wisconsin is starting to dominate the conference...can't let that happen.
Run_Fido's favorite word is strawman.
There is no way I'm rooting for Wisconsin. They are impressively good, but Bret Bielema can suck a fat one.
I'm with Flip.
Wisconsin: "starting to dominate the conference" and "impressively good"?
Maybe, if they played all their games, at Camp Randall.
In big games - on the road - I wouldn't bet on the Badgers to win.
