Considering I'm on my 4th one in my life time I would have to say I have a soft spot for the bulldog. Or maybe I keep getting them because they remind me of my ex-girlfriends.... they have short life spans and are expensive as hell! Hahaha....

Dubs is a Husky (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Husky). There is an important distinction between Malamutes (power) and Huskies (speed). Both are awesome.
He's a Malamute according to the UW website.
Which is a little comical considering that UW has the Husky as their nickname.
Not really. Malamutes are more docile, that's why they're used as mascots. They look similar enough, it doesn't really matter.
