Setting aside your personal belief about how CK chose to express his beliefs...
The Browns don't have any greatness QBs. Hue Jackson turned Terrell Pryor into a starting QB in the NFL...and at times..TP looked good. CK is a better QB version of TP.
The most famous Brown player of all time ... Jim Brown ... himself a social justice warrior, could be a possible mentor.
And I believe in Cleveland, adding CK would would put butts in the seats.
At this point, what does Cleveland have to lose?
