People act like the TWolves fleeced the Cavs in the Wiggins trade. Essentially, the Cavs acquired a 26-12 (top 4 player 2014 behind LBJ, KD, maybe CP3) who excels in passing, shooting, rebounding, and floor spacing for Anthony Bennett and an uber-athletic skinny wing player with no handles, a mediocre jumper, and mediocre passing ability.
Love carried the Wolves (minus Mo Will, Thad, Bennett, good Shabazz, A. Payne, Lavine) to 40 wins in the West. The TWolves were the worst team in the league without Love.
Are we going to ignore that Love struggled with injuries this year, was hardly ever a third option, had to adjust to an entirely new offense and team and coaches and schemes and etc, and still put up 17-10? He's just entering his athletic prime. We're going to have a rare, special talent like Love during his prime years. He was widely considered the best power forward in the league last year. He received MVP votes. Yet, many fans consider him worthless. Some even would rather have Tristan Thompson start over him. Cavs fans haven't seen anything of Love yet. He and LeBron are going to be light years better this season. Book it.
