How does that make the local Cardinal,Brewer,Pirate fans feel? We held serve while we were dealing with quite a few injuries now our closer is back and a couple others are close. How do you project the standings going into the all-star break.

Glad to see him back and playing well. It would take great courage to go back out there after his ordeal.

Now if the Reds can just get back Latos and Mesoraco and Bruce and . . .

Here is the best video I could find of him. Threw for 100+ mph and looked great. Aside from being such a great recovery story, this is huge for the Reds. So glad to have him back on the mound.

That's great to hear, for some reason I thought he would be out much longer.

Saw some stat too where he has more 100+ mph pitches than rest of league combined.

I used to hit lefty. I think if I faced Chapman, I'd suddenly have to give righty a chance to just to try and survive. Wouldn't matter any way, the dude would just make splinters of the bat. Go Reds. It's gonna be a long stretch run in a good division. I see it as a 3 team race but this time with the Brewers trying to hold off the Reds and Cards.

Go Bucks and michigan STILL SUCKS!

No doubt Seafus. I too would not have liked a righty throwing like that at me (bat righty). I was a very defensive batter.Choked up on bat, opened left foot towards third base and brought the bat down a touch when facing high fastball pitchers. It wouldn't have been enough. I have a broken nose and smashed orbital bone to blame for a 87mph fastball I took in the 9th grade.Funny thing is that is childs play compared to the football injuries a sustained while playing in Texas junior high. The staples on his skull let me know he has heart and I like that.
