After the debacle between Georgia and FSU, I had the thought that those kinds of games will be one more likely without rethinking non-playoff bowl games.  We are not going to get an expanded playoff system anytime soon. But what’s to say we can’t have more than one playoff? It’s already done in basketball (NIT), why not football. Give the next 12 teams their own playoff. Then you have almost the top 25 teams playing for something at the end of the year.
