Welcome back to Friday Night Fights.

This is your chance to prove to yourself, or to others, that you are an expert in predicting Ohio State's football success. FNF keeps the receipts and shows everyone how good your takes were – if you are feeling particularly bold, get in the comments and defend your take.

When we last fought, Ohio State overcame a rocky start to kick the pants outta some turtles. Congratulations to Jebpab for my FNF Take of the Week:

Here's how FNF works:

  • Vote in the Strawpolls for each question.
  • Comment below with how you think the game will go. Be bold, funny, correct, or a mixture of the three.
  • Check in on Fridays to see if your take gets framed. Then we'll rinse and repeat next Friday.

Here's how you voted last week:

Question 1: Maryland has only allowed one 250+ yard passer all season, and that passer ended up throwing three interceptions.

Keeping the ball safe was a big reason why we didn't choke this game away. Well done, boys.

Question 2: Maryland has ALSO not allowed a 100+ yard rusher all season.

Sucks to have over half the votes be immediately wrong before the ball is even kicked off.

Question 3: Who will be the Bucks' leading receiver this week?

Is Marvin Harrison Jr. with a sprained ankle the same as Michael Jordan with the flu? People are asking.

Question 4: Maryland has allowed only 3 sacks through five games, so we're changing the dimensions of this question. How many sacks will Ohio State have this week?

Love to see JT finally get to the quarterback! We need you to introduce yourself graciously to one Jonathan James McCarthy in late November, por favor.

Question 5: Currently, Ohio State is a 19.5 point favorite at home. How does this one end?

Tell me that we'd cover after the first quarter and I'd wonder what alternate dimension you came from.

Here are this week's questions:

Question 1: I always ask about Kyle McCord's passing yardage in this question, so let's shake it up a bit. The Buckeye defense hasn't allowed more than 207 passing yards to any QB this year (Austin Reed), while Hudson Card has hit that mark in 5 of his 6 starts this year. How does he do on Saturday?

(Vote: https://strawpoll.com/NoZr37bqGy3)

  • Misses the mark by a lot (<150)
  • Misses the mark by a little (150-207)
  • Makes the mark by a little (207-275)
  • Makes the mark by a lot (>275)

Question 2: Alright, I know Ohio State's run game kinda stinks as of this moment. Brian Ferentz led the Iowa Hawkeyes to 181 rushing yards against Purdue, so we'll use that as our unit of measure. How many Ferentzes will Ohio State put up against Purdue?

(Vote: https://strawpoll.com/GPgV6ep3pga)

  • Less than two-thirds of a Ferentz (<120 rush yards)
  • A little under a Ferentz (120-181 rush yards)
  • A bit more than a Ferentz (181-240 rush yards)
  • A Ferentz and change (>240 rush yards)

Question 3: Unlike some of Ohio State's past opponents, Purdue has struggled with turnovers, with 5 fumbles and 5 picks in just 6 games this year. How many turnovers will the Ohio State defense record?

(Vote: https://strawpoll.com/LVyK89jx6n0)

  • None
  • One
  • Two
  • Three or more

Question 4: AAAAAA IT'S AN AWAY GAME IN WEST LAFAYETTE AAAAAAAAAH

(Vote: https://strawpoll.com/e7ZJGRwOBy3)

  • Don't be scared, silly. Ohio State wins and covers the 19-point spread.
  • Calm down. Ohio State wins by more than a touchdown, but doesn't cover.
  • Maybe we should be nervous. Ohio State wins by less than a touchdown.
  • WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE. Purdue is inevitable.

Question 5: Elsewhere in a classic Big Ten showdown, Washington hosts Oregon in a top-10 matchup.

(Vote: https://strawpoll.com/QrgebxmVrZp)

  • Washington rides the #BigPenixEnergy to a multi-score win.
  • Washington staves off the duck invasion with a one-score win.
  • Oregon wins a close one in the land of the Huskies.
  • Oregon rides the #BigNixEnergy to a multi-score win.

Happy fighting!
