With all the excitement surrounding the start of the season against ND, the new-look defense, and Heisman candidate offensive players, I'm most excited about finding out who LJ's "Alpha Dog" will be. It's quite a mystery because typically if a dog's gonna bite, he'll bite as a pup so we have a quartet of sophomore candidates in Sawyer, JT, Hall, and Tyleik. But we have so many talented veterans who have not quite been "dogs" yet but bring plenty of experience across the line and will probably start early in the season. Could it be JJB, Friday, Cage, Vincent. Harrison? That's 9 guys out of LJ's 12, am I missing a potential apha dog?
Hopefully we'll see for ourselves on Sept 3rd but if not I hope LJ will enlighten us, the suspense is killing me...
