A few bold predictions for 2022
CJ Stroud throws for 4900+ and 49 TDs winning the Heisman
JSN goes for over 2300 receiving yards
RBs combine for over 2800 yards and 34 TDs
Treyveon Henderson has 6 or more 50+ yard TD runs.
The DL combines for over 37 sacks
We finish better than +10 in the turnover margin.
The second half of the season the defense will be one of the top ten performing defenses in the nation.
We beat TTUN by 17+ in the ‘Shoe
BOOM BOOM BOOM…
We go 15-0 as B1G and National Champions.
We have 4 All Americans in Stroud, JSN, Paris Johnson and Denzel Burke.
We have 10 or more players drafted in April 2023.
Wow I’m an optimistic guy. Super hype for this season.
My main concerns are the OL and the Defense have hiccups to begin the year.. which is why I believe we only beat ND by 3 - 13 points. There’s gonna be threads early on about why is the defense blowing assignments and why can’t we get our rushing attack on track. Scoring TDs in the red zone might be an issue early as well.. but I expect that these issues will improve as the season progresses and we will be a juggernaut by seasons end. An offense nearly as good as 2019 LSU but a much better defense than 2019 LSU.
