Even though the deadline to declare for the NFL draft was Monday, some announcements from Buckeyes returning for another year are still trickling in. Ohio State cornerback Sevyn Banks took to Instagram on Tuesday to confirm he will be back for his senior season:
Banks will return as one of Ohio State's starting cornerbacks in a secondary that will be looking for improvement after a disappointing 2020 season. While Shaun Wade is heading to the NFL, the rest of the Buckeyes' starters from this past season – Banks, Marcus Williamson and Josh Proctor will all be back in 2021 – though the depth chart should be open for competition as Kerry Coombs looks for improvement in his secondary and pass defense.
