• There's no single quote from him or team concerning his Alabama status.
• Coombs sings his praises with, "If you don’t stay on him, he’s going to find himself at the ball."
  • But, that quote was done in preparation for Clemson.
• The article is bereft of any statements or happenings after the Clemson game.
• Bottomline: the rumors of Tommy and his "position group" being ineligible are never addressed.
  • I doubt writers for the Statesman comb ElevenWarriors' comments for the inside scoop.

• When he was 12 all he wanted was a membership to Gold's Gym, which he received.

He was named the state’s all-class Gatorade player of the year as a senior in 2017 and made the 5A All-Idaho first team three times. He was also the 5A All-Idaho Player of the Year his senior year after racking up 93 tackles and 11 sacks despite constant double- and triple-teams.
