I hate playing on grass. It may be more natural, but it seems to somewhat neutralize our speed and athleticism. Take for instance Saturday, it looked like we were slipping and sliding all over the field. It may have been equal but it seemed to affect us more. It could have had an impact on Brown’s achilles - maybe not.  Back to my point, since 2016 and including bowl games, we are 7-4 when playing on grass. We played better competition on grass - but still startling. In that time, we lost to Clemson twice, Psu, and Purdue. Our wins were over Psu twice, MSU twice, Washington, NW, and Oklahoma. Our overall record since 2016 is 51-6. So, we are 44-2 when playing on turf and 7-4 on grass. I know the competition has not been equal, it just makes me think that if we never play another game on grass, that would be ok with me.
