The only thing stopping this defense from becoming Bama's sack monster is a stand-up pass rushing OLB. The nfl wants DEs who are over 270 pounds at 6'3 or bigger they move these college DEs to 3-4 OLB anyway. Cooper/Holmes/Lewis and maybe Hubbard would be OLB in the NFL. J. Bosa was a beast 6'5 269 DE moved to OLB in the Chargers defense he practiced OLB drills at the combine too. So it isn't entirely scheme. Barnett, Solomon Thomas, Charles Harris, and Takk McKinley all did OLB drills but all were DEs in college.
