Did a review of the Michigan two deep. They list RS Sr (redshirt) and they list Sr who may or may not have exhausted eligibility. Below is a list of both redshirt seniors who are starters and the Seniors who did not redshirt in their career. The losses are more than significant:
Offense (NRS Did not red shirt 4th year)
Starters:
Amara Darboh RS Sr. WR
Jehu Chesson RS Sr. WR
Ben Braden Sr. OL NRS
Kyle Kalis Sr. OL NRS
Erik Magnuson RSSr OL
Jake Butt Sr. TE NRS
De'Veon Smith Sr. RB NRS
Ty Isaac Sr. RB NRS
(Jabrill Peppers will go pro or it is a travesty for him--he may be their best offensive weapon this year)
Defense:
Chris Wormley RS Sr. DE
Taco Charlton Sr. DE NRS
Matt Goden RS Sr. NT
Ryan Glasgow RS Sr. DT
Ben Gedeon Sr. LB NRS
Jourdan Lewis SR. CB NRS
Dymonte Thomas SR FS NRS
Delante Hill SR SS NRS
Channing Stribling SR CB NRS
Jeremy Clark RS SR. DB
Again, it is fully anticipated that Jabrill Peppers will go pro: played both offense and defense.
Ken Allen P RS Sr.
The sheer number of letters earned by this starting lineup and their years in the program is remarkable. They are a very old team in terms of time at Michigan.
Also, if playing time is a major factor by recruits these losses show great opportunity for early playing time for incoming recruits. FWIW.
Quite frankly, Michigan next year will likely have less starters left than OSU had this year.
