P5C

Have you ever wondered how Ohio State and the B1G stack up against the other members of the Power Five conferences in recruiting for 2016? How the top recruit in the B1G compares to the other Power Five team's top recruits? This series will answer those questions and will be updated every other Sunday.

At the bottom of this article you will find a breakdown of each conference.

THE BUCKEYES
Are currently tied (Florida State) for second among all Power 5 Conference teams with an average composite rating of .926. USC is only .002 points ahead of Ohio State for first place.

Iowa State

2016 Iowa State recruiting has lived up to that statement.

ONLY THE LONELY
Iowa State is the only P5C team without a 2016 verbal commitment. Will they finally get a verbal before the next update? I wouldn't bet on it.

2016 Power 5 Conference Recruiting Rankings
Rank (Previous Rank) conference Avg. Comp. Rating Change (+ / -)
1 (1) SEC .882 +.001
2 (2) PAC 12 .868 -.005
3 (3) ACC .859
4 (3) B1G .855 -.004
5 (5) BIG 12 .852 -.004

The SEC was the only conference to get a positive result over the past three weeks.
Purdue's free fall caused the B1G to fall from third to fourth in the rankings.

2 (2) FLORIDA STATE .926 -.003
4 NR GEORGIA .920 +.005
5 (5) TEXAS .894 -.018

Three week's ago LSU was the top team in the nation. 21 days later USC is the top dog and another Dawg is representing the SEC...in fourth place.

USC's Mique Juarez is a big reason why USC is now the top-rated team in the nation.
