There are six 1000-yard rushers in the B1G Conference right now.
- Gordon - 2109
- Coleman - 1906
- Cobb - 1430
- Abdullah - 1417
- Langford - 1242
- Zeke - 1061
And it's not like these guys had success only in the conference. Gordon carried for 140 yards @LSU and 253 yards vs. BGSU (250 is 250). Coleman went for 132 yards at Mizzou and Abdullah ran for 229 against Miami. Cobb hurts my argument because TCU shut him down and Langford does the same as he was pedestrian against Oregon. They were both, however, pretty jacked against us and at least looked like NFL talent.
I'm not trying to build the conference, but mostly defend our rush defense in the cases of the ones we've faced. I think we're seeing some legit future-NFLers every other week. Those six guys are adding a lot of parity to the Big Ten, and they are grown men. Are there any better 6 from a conference around the nation?
