I was watching Fox Sports One, the Fox Sports Live: Countdown show, and Leinart nailed it.

"State Your Case: Best One-Loss Team"

(Host): "...we thought the Big Ten was dead when Michigan State was out, but now state the case for Ohio State"

(Leinart): "Ohio State --- they're very much alive. Listen, this Ohio State Buckeye team, I think we can all agree that they're the most improved team in college football. And, if you go back to their loss against Virginia Tech --- listen, Oregon gets a pass and gets credit for losing because of an injuries up front.

Well, Ohio State was missing their All-American quarterback Braxton Miller, their offensive line was in shambles, and that was JT Barrett's second career start, against a Bud Foster-led great defense on Va. Tech. 

Now you fast forward. They've been 8 & 0, and in that span, guys, their opponent's winning percentage is higher than Florida State, your Mississippi State Bulldogs, TCU, and Oregon. 

Their last two games have been huge road wins at Michigan State and Minnesota. They can be, they SHOULD be in the top 4 right now."
