I tried searching and didn't see where anyone had mentioned this so apologies if it has been. I just now saw it on this Awful Announcing article. The article explains that ESPN's headline for the Ohio State game was "Ohio State escapes Minnesota" where the TCU headline was "TCU passes test in Lawrence".
OSU went on the road in the freezing cold and beat a top 25 team by 7 points. It actually wasn't even that close late in the game. Somehow, that equals "escapes".
While TCU went on the road and beat a team that has only one 3 games all year by 4 points and TCU was actually trailing late in the 3rd quarter equals "passes test".

Well, ESPN actually ended up changing Ohio State's headline to "Buckeyes Run By Gophers".... so maybe our constant bickering actually worked??
