Apologies to those of you who read the original blog earlier today. My work has the shelf-life of organic food.

Bosa is a beast

Another week and another opponent gets its stats stuffed.

Ohio State went to blustery and cold Minneapolis and left with a 31-24 victory. Despite losing the turnover margin, again, the Buckeyes kept their B1G Championship and playoff hopes alive. How did Ohio State fare on the statistical scoreboard? Total domination.

It's always interesting to see how a team's stats change after playing Ohio State. The Buckeyes gained 489 yards against the Gopher's defense. That is 153.7 yards higher than what Minnesota averaged coming into the game. Ohio State gained 289 by ground (+151.4) and 200 by air (+2.3).

Another telling stat is Ohio State's competency on third down. The Buckeyes converted 9 out of 13 third down attempts. That is a conversion rate of 69.2 percent. Two weeks in a row Ohio State converted at least 69 percent on third down. Pretty impressive.

Below you will be able to compare Minnesota's stats before playing, and after playing, Ohio State.
