Win 50-28 or 30-10? Because it seems under Urban we are winning more games with the first score and under Tress with the 2nd. Both have roughly the same margin however it "feels different". Part of me thinks with offenses playing up tempo and all spread today that there is a new normal for a good defense. For example, 20 PPG is like 15PPG ten years ago. While I think our defense needs to improve mightily; I think part of this is a transition in the college game. Look at the scores teams like FSU and Alabama are giving up this year. Not a lot of 10-17 pts allowed games vs actual competition.
