Yeah, you can sit here and worry about what the Hokies did, but in reality this isn't going to have as adverse an effect on OSU's appearance as you would think for two reasons:

1. The B1G is horrible. IU lost to Bowling Green. After last weekend's crap. The people in the know, the AP voters, are very well aware of emotional letdown games. They could see this coming, and I don't think anyone is shocked after watching ECU play.

2. OSU is only going to get better, and once again, the AP voters have looked at the VaTech-OSU game and saw the match up. It was all set up for the Hokies: experienced defense, young OSU o-line, we all know the drill. That loss is going to look a lot different at the end of the year, *regardless* of what happens to VaTech, because the OSU offense is going to be vastly improved by the end of the year.
