yes,plenty of reasons to be less than optimistic concerning where this team ends up by years end,but naysayers concerning Russells value to this team just need to get over it
first its his shooting percentage(below the teams average,but after last night,maybe not)then it is all the other complaints that surround a first year player who is carrying a team that is not living up to many expectations,a one and done who should probably be appreciated for what he contributes now,as opposed to projections of disappointment that are more reflective of the team,as whole,than any one individual player
sheesh,my feeling is,if they didn't totally implode vs NW(which they really tried to do,as always,in the first five minutes of the game)...well,whatever...they will beat an increasingly overrated Indiana team and follow with a win against a Maryland team that is beginning to feel how brusing the B1G,even a mediocre B1G,can be
