Can the Buckeyes beat the Lady Vols without Ameryst Alston?

Great win for the Lady Buckeyes against West Virginia yesterday. Now we turn to Sioux Falls and a Sweet 16 matchup with Tennessee, who earned a trip to the regionals for the 34th time in 35 years(!). The Lady Vols were major "underachievers" this season, losing 13 times (most losses in team history) and falling out of the Top 25 for the first time in ~30 years. There's been a lot of talk here in Knoxville about Holly Warlick being on the hot seat, but she may have quieted that talk after this past weekend. In Tempe, they survived their first round matchup with Green Bay and thoroughly dominated Arizona State last night.

We've seen Ohio State struggle a bit since Ameryst Alston's wrist injury. Can they beat Tennessee if she's not 100 percent healthy? Tennessee has had a lot of offensive issues this season, but they are playing well at the right time. They are a very solid defensive team, with a lot of depth and size.

This is a tough matchup for Ohio State (Can Waterman/Cooper defend Graves/DeShields effectively? Who can deal with Russell inside?), but I'm hoping that if Alston can be effective, the Buckeyes can advance to the Elite 8 for the first time since 1993.
