I don't think I saw this mentioned on 11W, but the 5th-ranked men's volleyball team had an impressive weekend in California at the Asics Invitational. They took down #14 UC-Irvine in 4 sets on Friday night and scored a huge 5-set win the following night over top-ranked Long Beach State in a back-and-forth thriller (24-26, 25-21, 15-21, 25-21, 15-13). The win over Long Beach is OSU's first victory over the top-ranked team in the country since they won at Pepperdine back in March of 1998.

Ohio State is now 17-3 on the season and is riding a 9-match winning streak.
