Tom Herman's Houston Cougars sit at 4-0 on the season and in 2nd place in the AAC West with their most impressive win being a 34-31 triumph at Louisville. Houston also employs "Smooth Jazz" Kenny Guiton as a Graduate Assistant and tonight they take on the SMU Mustangs (Insert Craig James joke here) on ESPN2 at 7:00PM (6:00 Central). Houston is averaging 45.75 points per game this year while SMU (1-4, last place in AAC West) is averaging 31.4 ppg. It's not a marquee matchup by any stretch but I'm looking forward to watching Herman's Cougars play.
Assuming they look impressive tonight with a national audience what are the guesses for where Herman lands in his next coaching gig & when? I'm guessing he's at Houston 2 years, max, then off to a higher profile school before he finally lands in Columbus when Meyer retires in 2025.
