UPDATE: Roger Staubach and Joe Bellino have given their votes to Keenan Reynolds.

Clearly the Buckeyes are stocked with talent, with potential Heisman Trophy contenders in Miller, Elliot, Barrett and Jones.  But many 11Ws have argued that the 'embarrassment of riches' that tOSU enjoys may actually prevent one of these players from winning college football's most coveted award.  Hypothetically, if the Buckeyes end up with balanced offensive production from their playmakers, and there is no clear front-runner in Scarlet and Gray, who do you think has a shot at hearing his name called in NYC?

My Heisman Dark Horse is Navy's Keenan Reynolds.  No surprise there, right?  Navy will never get the press that tOSU and other P-5 schools get, but their move to the AAC gives them a shot at an extra game with the CCG, and potentially a look at a New Years Six bowl game.  If Navy wins 10 games, which is entirely possible, and Reynolds stays healthy, I think he definitely gets an invite this year.  If you're skeptical, check out this recent Washington Post article on Navy's QB.

It has spurred [Reynolds] to 64 rushing touchdowns, already a Football Bowl Subdivision record for quarterbacks and 13 short of equaling the overall mark held by Montee Ball. The former Wisconsin running back’s 83 total touchdowns are also an FBS standard within reach.

Reynolds has averaged 27 rushing touchdowns over the past two seasons, setting an NCAA record in 2013 for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (31).

He holds virtually every meaningful career rushing and scoring mark in Navy history, including touchdowns (64) and points (386). His seven touchdowns in one game in 2013 are a school record — and the most ever scored on the ground by a college quarterback — and he’s one of four Midshipmen players to amass 1,000 yards rushing and passing in the same season.
