Getting better on the gridiron would be even better. 

OSU and nine other B1G schools got a payout of $4.7M from the CFP on top of expenses and reimbursement for unsold Sugar Bowl tickets (?). Nebraska got a half share and Rutgers/Maryland got nothing. This is roughly double from the last year of the BCS, thanks to OSU being in the championship game. 

The B1G fiscal year ends Tuesday. I haven't seen any word on the total 2014-2015 payout.
