Mike Hall Jr. is selected 54th overall in the second round of the NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns.
I've gone through the schedules and there is a definite possiblity (though very remote), that no SEC team makes it to the playoffs:
- LSU over Alabama
- Alabama over Auburn and Mississippi St.
- Ole Miss over Mississippi St.
- Auburn over UGA
- Missouri losses any of its final three games (Texas A&M, Tenn, Arkansas)
...all this would mean a two loss SEC West team would face off against a three loss Missouri squad (with one of those losses against possibly the worst team in the Big Ten).
Missouri wins the SEC championship game (this is the biggest stretch of any of the above possibilities given how garbage they were in the games I've watched). Even the SEC biased voters can't put a two loss SEC team in the playoffs that couldn't even make the championship game in their own conference (at least I hope given how they're putting emphasis on conference winners). Right?
Anyway, other than Ohio State winning out the above scenario is what I'm hoping for.
