Here in the Tampa area, spring break is going strong. On the local news channel this evening they did a story on a group of Ohio State students who are here in the area for an "alternative" spring break. The students were wearing t-shirts that said, "Buck-I-Serve" and they are here cleaning up a 25 acre retirement community. They were cleaning up landscaping during this TV segment. A young lady was interviewed and she said, (paraphrasing) how fortunate they were to go to such an awesome university that gives them such opportunities to serve. The segment ended by saying the students will get a little bit of beach time, but the vast majority of their time will be spent cleaning up. Everyone paying it forward. So proud!
