I'm sure the outbreak has reached most corners of the nation and world now, but a strange horde of socially awkward "nerds" are wandering around cities while staring completely at their phone.  This instance is different than the soccer moms staring at their phones updating Facebook while sipping on pumpkin spice lattes, or the usual millenials crossing the street while staring at Snapchat.

Apparently, there's a new digital zombie infection that targets those who rarely venture outdoors or communicate to each other.  Ingeniously, this digital outbreak has afflicted nerds.  It's so powerful, it's driving countless sunlight averse introverts outside.

On an otherwise normal Sunday afternoon, this Northern Californian city park was overrun by a pimple faced horde nearly as bad as in The Walking Dead.  It's overtaken their brains quite quickly; it's interesting to watch partial social interaction in public, though they rarely look away from the screen of their GPS enabled phone  (most connected to large external batteries).
