I just moved back to Ohio and bought a house south of Dayton. It has a 0.6 acre yard. I thought that I was going to be able to mow it with my self-propelled push mower, but my eyes were bigger than what my right knee can handle after 4 surgeries. I'm looking for advice for a riding mower. Right now I'm comparing the John Deere D105 and the Cub Cadet XT1, but I'm open to other options. I don't think that I need anything bigger than a 42" width and I shouldn't need more than 20 HP. I also read that Cub Cadet completely redesigned its riding mower in 2015 after years of bad reviews. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.
