Fifteen years ago today Linkin Park released their debut album “Hybrid Theory”. It reached #2 on the album chart, won a Grammy for the song “Crawling”, sold over 10 million copies in the United States and over 27 million copies worldwide, and was the highest selling album in 2001. Although the band came late to the scene, “Hybrid Theory” is a defining, landmark album of the Nu-Metal or Rap Metal genres.
